A Word From Our President
With the start of a new year the Men's Golf Association (MGA) would like to invite and encourage all male members of Colony Creek to join the MGA. Annual dues are $15. This fee entitles you to be eligible to play in all MGA tournaments (tournament fees apply) and a year end Christmas dinner for two (must have played in at least two tournaments in the year for the dinner). The best way to join is by attending the January 27th MGA meeting that will be held in the clubhouse at 6 PM. This allows you to meet the MGA officers and members as well as providing your own input during the meeting. If you can't attend the MGA meeting, then see one of the MGA officers or the Pro Shop. You can join by paying the $15 dues.

In 2011 the MGA will be sponsoring 7 weekend golf tournaments of which 3 will be 2 day events. In addition there will be various Par 3, 9-hole fun tournaments sponsored in April and September (open to all Colony Creek Members). These par 3 events are held on Thursdays starting at 5:30 pm. All golf tournaments are designed to promote fellowship and competition among MGA members. If you like to have fun, play golf and make new friends, we welcome your participation.
During the course of the year we have 7 membership meetings, one every 2 months. These meetings are open to all MGA members. During the first meeting in January the annual schedule for all golf tournaments, MGA meetings, and other events will be announced and approved. All MGA members are welcome to present their opinions and views at these meetings.
During the meetings we address golf course conditions, handicaps and other items that are of concern to golfers. MGA meetings are normally attended by CCCC management, questions regarding the Greens, Fairways, Ball Washers, etc, are normally answered promptly and any problems corrected.
The MGA has proven to be an excellent organization for sponsoring golf tournaments that everyone enjoys playing. So take this opportunity to become a member of the MGA. Being an MGA member and attending the MGA meetings provides a format where you can express your opinions and make a difference at CCCC.
